Ratings and Reviews
I like the quick format feature, the ability to add photos and health/sleep data, and the AI inspiration prompts are also okay. but: The AI reflections need to be changed because it just keeps telling me that I should seek help and call a hotline. a journal is about thoughts, some of them include the daily stress and anxieties and the AI needs to understand that or turned off.
I really like this app. It actually ended up being just what I was looking for. It is easy to use with just enough tools for me to keep track of my life. Like others have stated though, it would be nice if this connected to other Google services. Having Google suggest or note meetings or calendar events would be really cool. I would also love to be able to use this on my other devices, not just my phone. Unfortunately, because of some of these lacking features, I still find myself using Obsidian
I've given a neutral 3 star rating (was going to give it 2 stars). because of the lack of finesse when using the AI feature. I like the daily prompts to help start a journal entry, I also like the post writing "reflection" but for two days running I've had a "seek help" warning instead of a reflection on what I've written. I can't point it to one thing but it seems overly sensitive to words I use in my journaling without the context. ultimately I shouldn't need to self sensor in my journal
Very good app and would love to use it more. I have a suggestion.. multiple journals so that writers can categorize different areas of their lives.
Needs better integration with Google photos
i tested the apo out on my new phone, after making a note about being tired it immediately reflected that i should seek professional help. it continued to give me really patronising reflections every time i wrote anything in. awful.
