Haunted House Watch Face

At midnight on Halloween an abandoned Victorian house stands on a bare hill under a full moon. Candles flicker behind its broken windows, three jack-o'-lanterns glow on the porch, a rusty mailbox leans by the steps and dead trees claw at the sky.

Window, house number, or both
- The round leaded attic window is the clock: its twelve panes are the hours, and thin iron hands turn behind the glass in the candlelight.
- Old brass house numerals on the gable show the time; the hour follows your watch's 12- or 24-hour setting.
- By default you get both at once.

Your information is on the house
Your steps and the date are written on the note pinned beside the door, your unread notifications on the mailbox's plate, and your battery on the brass plate under the porch lantern.

What moves
- Each minute the candles and the jack-o'-lanterns gutter, and the minute hand jolts on.
- On the hour the front door creaks open, two eyes blink in the black doorway and the door slams; every window blazes and bats burst out of the chimney.
- Tap the pumpkins and flame licks out of them one after another.
- Tap the attic window and a ghost's face presses against the glass. Tap the door and it creaks open.
- On Halloween night, from 6 pm to 6 am, a ghost drifts past the attic window every quarter hour, and from midnight to one the house burns ghost-green.
- In always-on mode the house turns to a dark shape under a dim moon; only its faint lights, the window's hands or the numerals, the date, your steps and your battery stay lit, to save power.

Make it yours
- Time: window and numerals, window only, or house numerals only.
- Fire: candle gold, ghost green, spirit blue or ember red, for every candle, lantern and pumpkin.
- Pumpkin flare on waking: flame licks out of the pumpkins each time your watch wakes (off by default).
- Three complications on the pinned note, the mailbox and the lantern plate: steps, unread notifications and battery by default. Choose other data for any of them in the watch face editor.
