Bon séjour — Welcome Book

Your guest arrives at 11 pm. They can't find the light switch, they can't work
out the thermostat, and they text you for the wifi code. Bon séjour settles that
with a sheet of paper on the table.

ONE ITEM, ONE PAGE
You create one card per item: the boiler, the wifi, the shutters, the bins. Each
card fits on a single A4 page: a photo, and the three steps everyone forgets.
Nothing more, because past three nobody reads.

YOU PRINT IT, YOU LEAVE IT ON THE TABLE
The app builds a print-ready A4 welcome book, with a contents page, the access
codes and a wifi QR code your guest scans to connect without typing anything.
They install no app, create no account and need no signal: they read paper.

OR YOU SEND IT BEFORE THEY ARRIVE
You can also hand over the welcome book as a file, by message or by email, the
way you would send a photo. Your guest opens it in Bon séjour and reads
everything on their phone, in their own language, even with no signal abroad. No
account, no link to visit, nothing to download during their stay.
The codes — wifi, key safe, alarm — NEVER travel in that file. Those you give on
site, on the printed sheet.

FOUR LANGUAGES
French, English, German, Spanish. You write your cards in French and translate at
your own pace; the app always shows what is left to do. A translation model can
be installed to suggest a first draft, which you review and correct — you have
the final say.

DICTATION, TO GO FASTER
A microphone next to each step. Dictation uses your phone's offline speech
recognition: the audio does not go over the network. If it is not installed on
your device, the app tells you instead of switching online.

NO SERVER, NO ACCOUNT
No account to create. No server: there is none, so nothing passes through one. No
data collected, no statistics, no advertising. Your key safe, alarm and wifi
codes stay in the device's memory and only leave through the welcome book you
print.
When you send a welcome book, the app writes a file and hands it to the Android
share sheet: your own messaging app carries it, not us.

WHAT THE APP DOES NOT DO
It does not handle your bookings, does not talk to any short-term rental
platform, and saves nothing to the cloud. Change phone and your welcome books do
not follow on their own. That is the price of the promise above, and it is a
deliberate one.
