Engine needs to get clever

How to win: 1. Try to hide in a corner, build up your homes and protect with castles. Stop expanding 2. Ignore the AI, Let the AI's battle themselves for 30+ turns. Just skip turns and earn money. 3. When the AI turns on you, use your accumulated money to eliminate an AI player in a single turn. 4. Rinse and repeat until you win

Used to play years ago, been replaying lately. It's fun, though the skins for units are a bit mixed quality. I like the ones with tanks and bunkers. Wish I could enable city names WITHOUT random names included (only my names).

Good strategy game but it gets boring really fast. It's not as good as more complex wars/civ like games, it's even simpler than chess or other classic strategy games and it shows as even on hardest difficulties you can top a map pretty easily. I would add more elements to make it more diverse, it would feel less of a strategy though; if the goal is strategy, add restrictive rules to map pieces.
