Many English grammar learners worry too much about tense. If you stopped 100 native English speakers in the street and asked them about tense, 1 of them might give you an intelligent answer - if you were lucky. The other 99 would know little about terms like "past perfect" or "present continuous". And they would know nothing about aspect, voice or mood. But they can all speak fluent English and communicate effectively. Of course, for ESL it helps to know about tenses, but don't become obsessed with them. Be like those native speakers. Speak naturally.

Active voice: the subject of a sentence is followed by the verb and then the object of the verb (e.g., “the children ate the cookies”).Passive voice: the object of the verb is followed by the verb (usually a form of “to be” + past participle + the word “by”) and then the subject (e.g., “the cookies were eaten by the children”). If the subject is omitted (e.g., “the cookies were eaten”), it may result in confusion about who performed the action (did the children eat the cookies, or was it the dog?).

Is good
it's not important
Very disappointing app. It marks correct English grammar answers as wrong. For example, it says "Neither she nor I has been at home" is correct, which is grammatically incorrect. It also marks "Past Continuous Tense" as the answer for an action that started in the past and continues until now, whereas the correct answer is "Present Perfect Continuous Tense." Please fix your answer key before misleading learners.
