Google Password Manager needs a major overhaul. Users store far more than basic website logins now—including Wi-Fi passwords, PINs, system credentials, and 2FA codes. It desperately needs customizable vault categories and industry-standard security on par with 1Password and Bitwarden, such as master-password protection and dedicated encryption, instead of treating sensitive credentials like simple browser autofill.
