This game seems really fun, but every single time I try to tap to scroll to the next dialogue screen it instantly selects a choice no matter where I tap inside the box. I've tried tapping outside the dialogue box to progress text and it doesn't work. Pretty much unplayable for me unless I resign myself to not knowing any of the random choices that will be accidentally made for me.
Good game, but... Could have a place for learned dungeons/snail info to reference. You will need to remember or look it up. Should at least have a notebook feature to not only give us a place in game to make notes, but signal to the player that learning strengths and weaknesses and necessary immunities for areas is kind of the point of the game. Also, its very hard to not accidentally hit an answer during path encounter dialogue. Kinda ruins that aspect of the game.
Enemies are impossibly tough to beat, and you take so much damage from them. Not to mention all the DOT from the status effects that the enemies can deal on you from just their normal attacks. They are so common that almost every enemy you encounter can do it. Plus, you can't leave the map and return to the town midway through. Who thought that was a good idea? Not recommended.
Man, this game pisses me off! I love the gameplay and it's a game that I legitimately would enjoy were it not for how TINY the font size is. Even with the stretch screen option the fonts are ridiculously tiny. There is absolutely no reason for the fonts to be this tiny. I'd rather uninstall than strain my eyes, which is unfortunately what I ended up doing. Such a shame because I really want to play it. But I'm not an ant! These fonts sizes are for ants!
Always wanted to install PH byte and magic on my phone as I wished to play it a long back, at last I made it. This game is one of my ever favorite as such titles are very hard to find nowadays. They still update this game properly till date, so I am very happy. Really thanks to the devs for such a beautiful old school title. 👍👍
I really liked the game but I ended up in a situation where I was fighting the last enemy in a group on encounter 6 of a dungeon and it kept group stunning my entire party on its turn for several rounds. Lost my healer and mage and the warrior ended up resisting to allow me to finish it but since there's no mechanic for returning to town or resurrecting in a dungeon, I basically had to swallow losing all my progress after I had cleared 7 other dungeons. That didn't feel fun...
