Microsoft actually made an app that I don't despise. It's pretty simple to use; I like that the translated part can be oriented the same as the original, or flipped so the other person can read if the phone is held flat; the voices, if used, are clear and easy to understand.

useless app, even i use whatsapp meta ai to convert Gujarati to english, it shows good results. I put more expectations on this app because its made by Microsoft but finally I'm not happy with this app. I upload a photo in this app few problems i noticed. 1. it didn't take full picture how many times you repeated the same 2. even I fixed the language as Gujarati to english and again it automatically recognized as another language 3. no proper translation 4.picture not uploaded properly
Great if you want an English to Spanish verbal translation. Or you want to type in the text. However it's very frustrating trying to get it to change from English to Spanish verbally. It repeatedly won't swap from English, so your Spanish is accepted and translated in to Spanish, which of course gives a unrecognisable output except the odd common word. This is since the latest Useless update!!!
this app really out performs google translate by a mile. the only thing is app is missing is romanization of certain languages to see how the words are pronounced. and an option to change audio read back speed to say words or phrases slower for easier comprehension.
