I gave them a second chance, and low and behold when you hit the "X" to close the free 7 day offer, it closed the offer window and not the app as it did at my first few attempts using the app. Not sure if they did a behind the curtain fix, but you can use the app as a free user. Thanks!!
The "Enjoy a 1 week Premium Subscription!" banner that does NOT go away is beyond obnoxious.
Very easy to use and allows me to spot bias more effectively. i believe everyone should use outlets that don't try to convince you to believe a particular narrative.
I agree with the review that the app performs poorly on tablets. I've had to uninstall/reinstall three times this week. It's frustrating that I have to do that for one of the best news apps ever! I rely on ground news for all my news because of its way of dividing sources by bias. Please work on this! I beg you.
This is a great service if you are up to the plethora of info they give you, but too much for an 80 year old. Wish they'd been around when I would have benefited more. Still, I will use it some and enjoy it for a year. Probably won't re-up.
