We purchased about 5 years ago. unfortunately it started making a lot of noise 18 months in, despite cleaning it out and keeping it maintained. We went to send it back, they said the noise was fixed, but on return it stopped working completely after 3 weeks. It had then passed the warranty and so we decided to just throw it out. I would not buy another one. They look good and are great for the first few months but go down hill really quickly. I have a home with dogs, babies and overall traffic.
so honestly...what anyone else says...all I got to say is, this is a legit company. so I was moving and in the process of moving the air filter compartment door got lost. I'm like dang man what am I going to do so I email them (Mila Air) and I get ahold of them they asked what model I have I tell them they sent me a black door and a white door completely free of charge... that's what's up. they are very very few companies like them. THANK YOU MILA AIR!!!! YA'LL ROCK!! -ROSWELL
From 5 to 2 stars. I guess the two units I bought lasted for only 4-5 years. It started giving trouble when i try to open my Mila app, have to sign in each time bec it says "an exception occured".At times the app doesn't recognize my two Mila units and I have to add it all over again. For the price, i feel it's not worth it but they have fair to good customer service when I email them. They check on me about the units and have to send video to them so they can accurately identify what's wrong.
I purchased a box of socks to help the filter. They work great! I clean the filter weekly with my household routine. My filter lasts longer & does a better job. The air in my house always smells good & my persistent coughing is much better. I highly recommend using your filter sock.
You guys, your charts make no sense. Why does it smooth the line out so much when I zoom out on time? I'm supposed to be able to determine highs and lows by looking at that barely shaded region? Crazy. And speaking of UI, all I can say is: DARK MODE. My god are you trying to blind us?? This app has the most egregious use of white literally everywhere I have ever seen. Plus there are weird lags between the summary AQI and the charts and some transparency on how that's calculated would be good.
Hard to say if the problems are the app or device. Not reliable though.Extra star for great customer service
