As the hour turns, the bell rings: it swings on its ribbon, rings of glittering frost sparkles spread out from it across the dial, and a flurry of snow drifts down.

Twelve small silver snowflake-stars mark the hours, with 12, 3, 6 and 9 in an elegant silver serif. The slim polished silver hands carry a small star at their tips and a dark outline, so they read on the shining bell and on the night sky alike.

The bell rings only on a tap and on the hour; at rest nothing moves faster than the seconds hand. Always-on shows only the stars, the numerals, the date and the hands as outlines, dim on black.
