About this app
Managed DAVx⁵ has the same awesome sychronization capabilities as the original DAVx⁵ but comes with great additional features for businesses and organizations. Primarily this version is aimed to be rolled out for employees of an organization that wants to have CalDAV & CardDAV available on Android devices. Managed DAVx⁵ must be pre-configured by an admin. It can be done within minutes - and no programming is required!
Remote configuration can be distributed using:
* EMM/MDM, Android Enterprise
* Network service discovery (DNS-SD)
* Network DNS (unicast)
* QR code
Configuration options:
* Use your own Base URL
* Use your own company logo
* Password-free setup via client certificates possible
* Lots of pre-configurable settings such as contact group method, proxy settings, WiFi settings etc.
* Additional fields to set for "Admin contact", "Support phone" and a website link.

- A deployment method to distribute Managed DAVx5 (like an MDM/EMM solution)
- A possibility to distribute the configuration (MDM/EMM, Network, QR code)

What's New
From 4.5.4.1 to v4.5.10-ose, the releases were mostly maintenance and refactoring: lots of internal cleanup, DI/build restructuring, and dependency updates. There were also several sync/WebDAV bug fixes and vCard/CalDAV improvements. On the feature side, notable additions included a Backups reminder intro screen in 4.5.9 (not shown in Managed DAVx5!) and a few small UI tweaks in 4.5.10, like the Weblate engage button and account UI customization changes.

I was looking for a solution for quite a bit. We always appreciated iCloud as a solution for our business, but more and more colleagues asked for the possibility to use their own device based on Android. I'm happy that this is just the perfect solution for us. Our employees can take profit by using their device, our CFO is happy that we save money on mobile phones and contracts and still we can stick with our preferred solution based on iCloud.
