Setup & requirements
- Camera permission for QR code onboarding.
- Wi-Fi: Visible, password-protected IPv4 network. All models support 2.4 GHz; 5 GHz is supported on select Pro models only. Use 2.4 GHz for all others.
- Location Services: Enable during onboarding to help the app find your Wi-Fi network.

Not maintenance free, but damn close. Great Customer Support!
I bought my 90 year old mother the litter robot 2 two years ago so she didn't have to scoop litter. it has literally saved her thousands of scoops. I have the app on my phone and I can monitor if it is getting full and so occasionally remind her it needs cleaning.(just open the drawer and replace the bag..easy for her) I can remotely cycle and reset it during some issues and it makes it easy to assist her over the phone reconnecting to WiFi after a power outage. Great app. Great litter robot 4.
My Litter Robot has operated for years with no issues. I'd recommend it to anyone who has cats. It is such a relief not having to scoop a littler box or smell cat waste. My Litter Robot 4 is a game changer! Would purchase again and again.

Great update to cycle delay now in minute increments - and the biggee -remote reset for those pesky, critical function blocking 3 blue, 2 yellow flashing lights (regular with multiple cats). 5 stars if you can add manual reset option to notification e.g. weight imbalance detected, do you want to reset? :-)
