amazing game that takes, including the detective pass games (I recommend getting it), around 17-20h depending on how many clues you get and how quick you find the right answers. the detective pass games are not as long as the main game but are all properly difficult and multi-layered and give nice background information on the IDOL and Lemuria. only weird glitch (but not important for the general game play): the Play Achievemnts don't save properly and get reactivated each time I open a chapter
The Rise of the Golden Idol is a fantastic puzzle game somewhat similar to investigative games like Return of the Obra Dinn. Although playing the first game isn't strictly necessary, it helps to appreciate more of the story. This game is a little longer and a bit more polished than the first, and overall the difficulty is slightly higher. The DLC is larger and harder. Key words are now collected automatically, but there's still no auto-sort. Both games are heaps of fun and deeply underrated.
I completed some cases and earned the achievements for them, but the problem is that after I turn off the game, the achievements are undone. Please fix this.
Great sequel in the Golden Idol series, great level of depth and makes you work for the puzzle solutions sometimes
The game was not working offline so the devs offered a quick resolution by offering a refund for the game and it's DLC. The game itself is pretty great but I wanted a game which i can play offline. No fault with the game or devs at all
