Backgammon is a game of skill and strategy; one of the world's classic parlour board games, played for recreation and gambling. Like Mahjong, Backgammon is played in social groups in coffee houses and bars. Historically, variants of this game are believed to have been played in Mesopotamia and Egypt thousands of years ago, then by the Romans and later in India. It also spread to East Asia, but was largely replaced by Xiangqi (Chinese chess). It is now very popular in the West.

The worst backgammon app. You cannot disable ads even if you're not online or you choose it from settings, they keep appear. Don't you know it's worthless, nobody click on those ads, anyway...
the dice is cheating all the time to help the computer player look tough... well this is my reply to ur answer as couldn't add a new cmnt... they're accused of cheating because they all suck... u can take this as a review and make + change or argue... the only way to be sure is first make all the dices wnd show to the user briefly and then starting... as long as the app makes live choices apparently one way or another it helps itself
Really enjoy all of the features that are allowed.. Still learning to be a better player! Thumbs up..by the way, I start my 94th year in a few months! 😃
good for passing the time, but don't expect fair play. CPU throws some very"lucky" dice!!
It doesn't cheat like a human & its pretty bad at how it does. I think it rolls ALL the dice 'moves', ~120 game rolls split for players, & arranges its roll matrix into the most winnable configuration. This will APPEAR as if its getting the rolls it needs 'in-the-moment', but the outcome was decided from the moment play began. Proves out by the way it DOESN'T respond if you make a non-normal move. NEVER leave an open piece for a 6 hit, and NEVER accept a doubling offer. Ur wins will go way up.
Okay, but but level 7 and up is kind of BS. I noticed that once you start playing level 7 or up, the computer/AI doesn't really get better in terms of strategy. It basically weighs the game more in favor of the computer solely with dice roll results. If I have a 50/50 chance to get a bumped piece back in, it seems to take like 5 or 6 turns. If you leave computer with 1 or 2 in 6 chance, it seems to roll exactly what it needs right away. Dice rolls are NOT random at level 7 and up.
