Thanks to Kobo, I don't miss Kindle. I'mvery happy it plays nice with the Readwise app.
App does not respond to Android Auto media instructions. Google AI - "Gemini can only control playback or change tracks or chapters in apps that have enabled integration with Google's media framework. If an app lacks this support, Gemini cannot manage its media controls." Sloppy with a bluetooth headset. Pause/ play regularly gives next track. Reported multiple problems paying by QR codes - funds deducted, cart stays full, refund. Detail request and blame export loop - no ownership/ solution.
Good app, but could use an improvement with the apps "back" button. Would be useful if it went back to the list of books displayed (which I'd searched for) instead of going all the way back to the search again feature.
Hyperlinks in books don't work in app. My Bibles work fine on my ereader but In the app, you can get to the book {eg Psalms) but not to the chapter within the book. Please, please fix this. Kobo currently has a good chance of beating Kindle. Don't let the app fall short. We want you to win!
kindle is much better and easier to use..it has features that are missing in this app , such as the translation to Arabic feature
Love it!!, I tried a few others. But for what I was looking for,Kobo was perfect. Great price and selection . I love to read a hard cover book and also use the audio book when I work out . Kobo has been great , I think I'm going to stick with it.
