The how to guide is not comprehensive. Now I need to pay a Tech to come work on it.
love my water heater it's unfortunate that Rheem doesn't have a decent wifi application. Why make products that are Wifi compatible if you can't get someone to make a decent app that works with android and apple phones. All my major appliances are wifi compatible washer/dryer, microwave, stove, A/C, none of them have issues and their apps work just fine with my router. But your app says it can't find the router... it's exhausting trying to get it connected.
The app appears to have no memory whatsoever, in regard to setting a schedule for my heat pump water heater. I try to reprogram the default schedule, and after a day or so the heat pump / app returns to that weird default. After the August 2026 update, the program became totally useless. it is so disabled that even logging in has become impossible.. Whoever the program manager for this abomination is should be shot in the face before he's fired.

keeps failing to sink or connect to my thermostat. or just fails as an app.
