Taking advantage of a mobile or car-embedded Internet connection and a BlackVue dashcam, BlackVue Cloud connects you to your car through the Cloud. Using the BlackVue App on your smartphone or tablet, you see in real time where your car is located and what is happening around it.

You can access your dashcam through a direct connection via Wi-Fi. Once connected, you can access all the videos stored on the dashcam's microSD card, adjust the camera angle, and modify BlackVue's settings as needed. You can also apply firmware updates wirelessly (FOTA).
BlackVue Cloud is a dedicated service for BlackVue users that allows you to access your BlackVue from anywhere at any time. Creating a BlackVue Cloud account is simple and free. After creating an account, you can register your Cloud-compatible BlackVue in the app and configure it to connect to your hotspot.

Was good until a recent update. Would not let me log in after the update I. kept receiving "already logged in" message. then an option to click to end all sessions was available, but apparently it does absolutely nothing. I ended up uninstalling, restarting device and reinstalling the app to finally get it to log in. Thankfully I wasn't in a situation where I urgently needed the footage from the camera.
Could not be more disappointed with this product and app, Can't ever get this to connect so it's rare that I can actually check any footage, Literally never works so there's no point even having this on my car. Do not buy these products it is a joke at this point.
Don't waste your money on this overpriced junk. Only thing worse than the camera is this app, always difficulties connecting, zero functionality and really painful user experience yuck. Plenty of good cheaper alternatives available, choose anything but blackvue. Can confirm what other users state about longevity, the camera died within 12 months of purchase. Get a redtiger or any other alternative, blackvue dashcam is pure unadulterated landfill.
can't seem to get mine to work for free
will not work or connect to my phone and it keeps saying check so card . So I have changed card and still not working
unable to log in without an account so unable to get video footage when out of service when I need it most
