Tentang aplikasi ini
Kiren is a premium digital safety app from F-Secure, made for exactly these moments. It helps you tell what is real from what is fake, and it keeps watch over your identity and your phone.
F-SECURE MOBILE SECURITY IS NOW KIREN
Kiren is the next version of F-Secure Mobile Security, built by the same team and completely redesigned.
CHECK BEFORE YOU ACT
• Link Checker: Confirm whether a link is safe before you open it. Shopping sites get a trust rating, useful before buying from an unfamiliar store.
• Message Checker: Paste in a suspicious text and find out in seconds whether it shows signs of a scam.
• Breach Check: See whether an email address has appeared in a known data breach.
• Your Apps: Analyse your apps to see exactly what they can access, so you can revoke permissions that put your privacy at risk.
• Quick Access to find, lock or wipe your lost device.
PROTECTION THAT RUNS IN THE BACKGROUND (Kiren Plus)
• Device scan: Antivirus makes it easy to identify, clean & remove viruses from your Android device. It checks new downloads and apps the moment they arrive, runs a daily scan, and removes threats.
• Personal data monitoring: Watches your email addresses, phone numbers, payment cards, and identity documents around the clock. If any of them appear in a new breach, you get an alert with full details and step-by-step guidance on what to do.
• Scam Scanner: Upload a screenshot of a listing, an offer, or a photo and Kiren's AI checks it for scam tactics and deepfake manipulation.
• Browsing Protection: Prevent cyber-criminals from redirecting you to malicious websites while using Chrome browser. Bank and shop with confidence with Safari Browser. Browsing Protection verifies that banking sites are real and rates online stores before you buy.
• Message Protection: Detects scam messages from unknown senders in SMS and WhatsApp, and gathers the harmful ones in one place. Conversations with your contacts are never analyzed.
• Breach Report: Get timely alerts whenever a company, app or service you use has a data breach along with info about how to best secure your data.
KEEP YOUR DEVICE IN GOOD SHAPE
• Device Health checks that a screen lock is set, the first line of defense if your phone is lost or stolen.
• Your Apps shows what each installed app can access, such as the camera, microphone, location, and contacts. An app with more access than it needs stands out.
• Recent News keeps you informed about data breaches and current scams.
BUILT WITH PRIVACY IN MIND
Your browsing events, checked messages, and app analysis are stored locally on your device.
FREE AND PLUS
Kiren Free includes Link Checker, Message Checker, Breach Check, the device lock check, Your Apps, and Security News.
Kiren Plus adds Browsing Protection, Message Protection, antivirus, personal data monitoring, and the Scam & Deepfake Scanner.
Kiren is made by F-Secure, protecting people online since 1988.
THIS APP USES ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES
This app uses Accessibility services. F-Secure uses the respective permissions with active consent from the end user.
The Accessibility permissions are used for the Chrome Protection features, in particular:
• To read website addresses for checking their safety on Chrome.
Kiren uses Android's VpnService for an upcoming web protection feature. When it is available, Kiren will create a local VPN on your device to check website addresses and block harmful sites. This feature is not active yet.

I was not told that the security would be changing to Kiren it just showed up on the phone and was supposed to just accept it without any explanation all tutorial telling us how to use this thing
Since transferring over from F-secure the new app shows no browsing activity? In fact it doesn't show a lot tbh which doesn't give me any confidence? I've no idea why no browsing activity is showing and in setting up while there's screens saying what should've happened tbh I don't remember seeing any of this? and can't seem to find any screens like this either? And there's absolutely nowhere you can contact as per the app it seems? not sure this is exactly progress?
Not very user friendly. All previous security data gone .
App Grade is F! bc it's terrible 10-21-26
This app was originally called "Lookout". Had been using it for many years since it was already installed on my phone. Then it changed to F Secure, was better as Lookout. Then it changed again recently to Kiren, was better as F Secure because now all they want is your money for a pre installed app that you can't remove with less options than the original.
There was nothing wrong with F-Secure. Now it's "updated" and ruined with NO warning about the coming changes. Used to be able to keep our phones secured, able to locate my children, had the power to lock and delete everything on the phone if stolen, even had a VPN. Now it's TOTALLY worthless. You've lost a 11 year subscriber.
