Black Hole Watch Face

A black hole at the centre of your wrist, and nothing in the way.

In the middle of a deep star field, a black hole bends the light around it.
Its glowing orange disk turns without stopping, the bright arc wraps over
the top of the dark centre and a thin ring of light closes underneath, the
way light really bends around a black hole. The animation was modelled and
rendered in 3D, then looped so it never jumps.

The dial stays analogue so the black hole has the stage: raised silver
numerals, a printed bezel ring and silver hands, with a red or silver
seconds hand sweeping past. Below the centre sit the weekday and a small
date window. Tilt your wrist and the star field and the glass shift with it.

APP SHORTCUTS

Four app shortcuts sit hidden on the dial. Touch and hold the watch face,
open Customize and go to the complications to set an app for each slot. To
change an app, clear the slot first, then choose an app shortcut again.

HOW TO INSTALL

1. Open this page in a web browser, tap Install and choose your watch as
the device, or search for cmdn in the Play Store on your watch
2. On the watch, press and hold the current watch face
3. Swipe to find this one and tap to select
