Spica is looking for something to listen to, and Mikage, the protagonist, goes on a journey in a mysterious world to search for songs that will please her friend.
What’s behind that last door? What is that heartbeat you can hear?
This game is set in a variety of locations inspired by the work of Vocaloid producers, illustrator, and animator Harumakigohan.
If you already love songs like Meltyland Nightmare or Reunion, GenEi AP will be that much more special to you.
This is the first work in a cross-media trilogy by Harumakigohan, which will include:
- The game “GenEi AP: Empty Heart”
- The music album “GenEi EP: Envy Phantom”
- The concert “GenEi LV: Harumakigohan One-man Concert 2022”

I love this game and Harumakigohan. I played it back when I was just a baby fan of his, and I'm replaying now that I've learned more about the characters and story. He's such an amazing music artist and artist in general
PEAK concept. HarumakiGohan is always cooking. I love the graphics, illustrations, the music and everything. I might be biased but trust me, the puzzles are easy yet still difficult. Short storyline of a game but still a masterpiece made with love and dedication!!!

A short puzzle game but with an amazing story.. admittedly after the first play though there's not much reason to do it again unless you want to 100%'d the few songs you left off but still, if you need a quick distraction and you're in a quiet place this is a fun game to play and think about afterwards. You can even listen to the creator's music afterwards with the ending knowledge for some imaginative Yuri!
I'm a really big HarumakiGohan fan, so I've been able to get all of the discs, except the MeltyLandNightmare disc, and it really annoys me. I know that you need to drink the black coffee and then set the alarm to "dream time", but I've been experiencing a bug where if I drink the black coffee, then set the alarm to any time, it kicks me out of the game and sends me back to the app screen. I hope this gets fixed soon, and I would've given this a 5-star rating if it weren't for this bug.
Best comfort game, simple, unique, deep, challenging and most importantly made with love, dedication and care💖✨😭
