Good gets me to latest news quickly
The only place worth getting your news from in my opinion, instead of getting your news from one source that has a huge bias, ground news tries to balance everything for you showing you all the points of view and getting you out of your bubble to see the other side. The news in general can often be depressing, but when you see both sides of a story, it tends to balance out and shows you what really happened rather than just fear-mongering, click bait or pushing you to one extreme.
if ground news is supposed to show me what people are talking about then why is there zero coverage on Ilhan omar unless I physically search for it? I have to dig and dig to find information regarding her immigration and fraud charges. probably leaving this app soon. what's the point in advertising that everything is available easily unless it has to do with democrats.... they themselves create a blind spot and then sell it as if they are doing good while clearly hiding things.
Worth every penny. My favorite part is the blindspot feature. it is very educational to see what media organizations choose to report and not to report and how they don't want to report true facts that make their own side look bad.
I had my reservations but after giving Ground News a chance, I have to say, it does exactly what it promises to do, A Great News app in a world of misdirection and immense bias, well worth the subscription fee, Kudos to the Team.
clunky. engineers need to stop listening to middle management intent requestors. login flow on app startup is criminally bad, if not insulting. I'm already a subscriber so why is there no login flow on initial launch? greed and laziness. lots of options to "sign up" but no login. bizarre. even once login screen is found, it doesn't work. bad devs, no cookie.
