Alipay is really frustrating international users with their chip verification that is not even working. if you don't want other countries especially Nigeria to use your app kindly make it official than frustrating us. someone with suffer to get an international users in passport at the end of the day you still have to look for a phone with NFC after that verification won't still work, this is wickedness in the highest order.
just opened and verified the account but automatically got restricted, customer service not helpful, now not even possible to delete the account! stay away
not for foreigners. so troublesome and wasted hours for it to only terminate account as passport names and credit card names in different sequence.
