i absolutely hate plex now after the last update, what a waste of my time with all the spinning circle and no video and i'm a life long paid sub too!
the new ui update removed the h264 max level setting, making much of my library unplayable

I've used Plex for years and it's always been reliable and fairly easy to use. The update on Chromecast with Google TV has changed all that. Things that played smoothly before now constantly buffer and navigating the app itself is slow and unresponsive. I've avoided using alternatives like Jellyfin because this used to work but now it's time to start exploring other options.
