"A daily trivia quiz where you type your answer and rarer answers score more."

Over deze app

Rarest Krill is a trivia quiz built on open questions. Read a prompt such as "Name a discovery that changed medicine", type your answer and see how rare it is. Every correct answer counts, and the rarer it is, the deeper you go.

Seven rounds per dive
Each game, called a dive, has seven questions. In the daily quiz and the themed worlds, you have 25 seconds per question to find a correct, uncommon answer. If an answer is not recognised, try another while time remains. Watch the ocean change as you descend and try to beat your own record, down to 7,000 metres.

Six rarity tiers
Each recognised answer lands in one of six rarity tiers, worth from 10 to 100 points. At the end of a dive, the round log shows each answer and the points it earned.

A new daily quiz
A fresh daily challenge opens at midnight UTC. Keep your daily streak going and look back at the previous day's rare finds on the daily leaderboard.

Eight worlds of general knowledge
Four worlds come with every account: Endless Pop, Movies & TV, Game On and Around the World, covering pop culture, film and TV, sport and geography. Premium adds Anime & Manga, Video Game Vault, Brand Empires and World Flavours.

More ways to play
- Practice Dive: seven questions with no timer, at your own pace.
- Double Dive: bank an answer, then try for a rarer one and keep the better result.
- Battle: invite friends to a private room and play live rounds together.
- Challenge Link, with Premium: share a code so friends can take on the same dive at a different time.
- Crew Dive, with Premium: play in a team of two to four and find different answers for a team bonus.

Your log and settings
Review finished dives in your local log and follow your progress. Game summaries sync across your devices. Play in English or French, adjust sound and vibration, and choose whether to get a daily reminder. Layouts are made for phones and tablets.

Account and Premium
Sign in with Google or by email to play. A free account includes 3 dives a day, daily quiz included. An internet connection is required to play, and your saved local log can be viewed offline.

Premium is an optional annual subscription. Eligible Google Play accounts can receive a 7-day free trial, followed by the full annual price in one payment. The local price and trial eligibility are shown before purchase. The subscription renews annually unless cancelled. Manage or cancel it in Google Play, and cancel before the trial ends to avoid the annual charge.

it would be better if there's a mixed theme like the daily dive.

really cool idea for an app, but the whole point of the app is putting obscure answers and most of my answers are too obscure for the game to recognise. "Champions league" for a major sports competition was too obscure to be recognised and it's one of the largest football competitions in the world. "sayumi suzushiro" was too obscure of an answer for anime voice actors even though she has multiple lead roles and has worked for some huge names, such as bocchi the rock

The game is fun but it's a big miss with the subscription model. I might pay $5 for a month because I know I'll get bored but I'm definitely not paying $40 for a full year
