🔒 Secure email with encryption
Everything in your inbox is stored with zero-access and end-to-end encryption, emails between Proton users can only be read by you and your recipient. Proton Mail can't read or scan your messages. Our open-source apps use OpenPGP encryption and are independently audited.
🎭 A private alternative to temp mail
Need a temp mail address for a sign-up? Create up to 10 free hide-my-email aliases on the web. They forward to your inbox, keep your real email address private, and can be disabled or deleted at any time.
🔄 Switch to secure email
Easy Switch moves your email to your new secure inbox with no manual exporting or importing. Connect Gmail to use your Gmail address alongside your Proton email in one secure inbox, or set up auto-forwarding from as many Gmail accounts as you like.
The Wall Street Journal: "Proton Mail offers encrypted email, which makes it virtually impossible for anyone to read it except the sender and the recipient."

can only give 3/5 as most basic features are subscription based. They offered more storage if I forward my gmail. I did. I didnt get the increase. Cant setup my gmail/protonmail with IMAP/SMTP, unless I pay so now I need to continue going back and forth to gmail to delete emails. still getting used to a password keeper. seems to work great (though its my first, so i cant compare). im trying to de-google. so far this is working. Just wish some minor features were included before I pay
its actually doing well thank you.
right off the bat, the phone number validation fails, for whatever reason
Doesn't even have basic formatting like bold, italic and underlining on the mobile composer. It's only a plain text box and an attach button.
I'm reaching my storage quota.. don't use this for business.
Distubed by this app(proton mail) letting facebook try to track your device and if you don't have any protection in place facebook is collecting the data off of your device through this so called privacy focused company. Seems like proton sold out. The dollar wins again because who cares about people.
