SketchForge: IDE for Arduino

SketchForge is an IDE for Arduino, ESP32 and ESP8266 boards that runs on your phone. Write a sketch, compile it offline with the real avr-gcc and xtensa toolchains, upload it over USB OTG and watch the serial monitor — no PC, no cloud, no account. Everything the desktop Arduino IDE does, in your pocket.

Why SketchForge
• Compiles on the device. The compilers and arduino-cli are inside the app, so a build works in a basement, on a train or in a classroom without Wi-Fi. No cloud compiler, no queue, no "server busy".
• Nothing to download first. The toolchains for Arduino (AVR), ESP32 and ESP8266 ship with the app — no SDK packs to fetch before the first build.
• No ads, no locked features, no sign-in. Compiling, uploading, the monitor and the libraries are all included.
• No root required.

Compile
• One tap to verify, with real compiler diagnostics: every error shows the line and column and jumps to the code
• Flash and RAM usage after each build, so you know how much room is left

Upload over USB
• Connect the board with a USB OTG adapter and flash it: STK500 and AVR109 for Arduino boards, the esptool protocol for ESP32 and ESP8266
• Progress for every stage and a clear result

Serial monitor and plotter
• Baud rate, line endings, autoscroll and pause; copy or save the log
• Serial plotter: up to 8 series in the Arduino Serial Plotter format, with a legend you can toggle
• Crash decoder for ESP: paste a Guru Meditation backtrace and see functions, files and lines from your last build

Library manager
• A catalogue of almost 10,000 Arduino libraries, searchable offline and filtered for your board
• Install from the Arduino index or from a local .zip; library examples open as new sketches

AI assistant on the device
• An optional local model explains compiler errors, proposes a fix as a diff you review before applying, and answers questions about your code
• The model is downloaded once and then runs on the phone; nothing you write leaves the device

Requirements
• Android 13 or newer on a 64-bit (arm64) device
• A USB OTG adapter and a data cable to upload and to use the monitor; editing, compiling and the assistant work without a board
• About 150 MB to download; the toolchains take about 430 MB after the first launch
• Interface in English, Ukrainian and Russian

Only installing a library from the Arduino index or downloading an AI model needs a connection. Your sketches stay on the device.
