SFGATE

I am subscribed to sfgate, but the app will not allow me to read articles unless I pay a further "friend of the newsroom" fee. Might as well just read on a web browser.

non biased local news. I love their journalism without getting all NuclearWe"reAllGonnaDie attitude. you won't be disappointed

I love the SFGATE website but the app is **major fail**. Every article sits behind a paywall. 🤦

Former Bay Area resident, had access to SFGate for many years. NOW I can't open stories without complicated action. May soon block since it's frustrating to see a headline of interest and be unable to read the story :-{

The crosswords are my favorite!

I'm an avid reader of SFGATE even though I live nowhere near San Francisco or California for that matter. I was first attracted to it due to my affection for Drew Magary's column but since then I find myself reading much more. my only complaint was the ads and no way to become a paid subscriber, but recently that has changed. I signed up immediately so now it's all good!
