Goodness me! Trying to set this up for my mum. It's so ludicrously complicated. Even registering is not sign posted. An abject failure of an app, overly complicated and so user unfriendly. 0/10
This app has always been glitchy but the latest release has made it worse on my Samsung phone. I am 2/3 the way through a book and the app has crashed several times so that I have to restart it. Whether I have closed it or it has crashed, when I restart the book it always begins at 27%. I have to set regular bookmarks so that I don't have so much searching to do. it's extremely frustrating.
This used to be a great app, that would allow me to listen to files on my device for free and was a great tool for accessibility. However, they have now removed the ability to add most file types such as ePub, and only allow you to add PDFs, except to add PDFs you have to pay for premium. So, essentially, as a free user you are unable to upload any files. This is really disappointing as I loved this app, and now cannot use it at all.
Really enjoy listening but the recent change to the screen layout has resulted in a poorer experience. Both sets of arrows seem to jump to the next chapter, rather than the 2 minutes I have set, but worst is the progress bar, which no longer shows position in chapter, only in book. Not knowing how many minutes are left makes it difficult to set the sleep timer. Not good changes Gets worse-uninstalled/reinstalled because it wouldn't log me in. lost all my books. downloaded one-unsupported?
After updating to the latest version of the app Wow, excellent update. Especially the play/pause, fast forward, and rewind. All three controls are available on the lock screen. Excellent update, wow!
Keeps breaking down and often takes me back to square one when it reopens so it is guesswork to find the right spot again.
