About camera and microphone access
Brightside requests camera and microphone access for live video sessions with your provider. Access begins when you join a session and ends when the session does.
Your session keeps running if you leave the app mid-appointment—to check an email or pull up a document, for example. Audio stays connected so you and your provider can keep talking, and your video pauses until you come back. While a session is live, you’ll see a Brightside notification you can tap to return to it.

First time I tried an app to see a provider and it was very easy to set up, verify my insurance and get an appointment as soon as the same day. After my virtual appointment, the provider sent an electronic script to my pharmacy and follow-up in a month. I would recommend Brightside Health.
I had a scheduled appointment that the Dr did not show up to and was charged anyway. I sent several emails regarding the issue and requested a refund with no resolve, they just kept sending the same generic bot response, not resolving the problem
Billed me Oct 26 with due date Nov 1 for service my insurance pays & has check sent out for dated today Oct 27. Brightside Customer Service claims they removed my MasterCard so I wont wind up paying, cause the app doesnt allow you to remove your payment method. But my MC is still in my account. CS told me to logout & back in. Did that & my MC still listed. My insurance has tried getting through to Brightside twice with no luck. At this point I gotta call my bank & get a new debit card.
you get charged and aren't told what you are being charged for. invoices say patient responsibility with no itemized breakdown. its unclear exactly what the cost for the services are or if they are charged per use or monthly. randomly you get a message saying you owe x amount. if you dispute it they still charge you I need the medication but their business practices are extremely shady. I would not reccommend.
the therapist was very unprofessional very uncompassionate she was literally eating during our video interview or meeting that's very rude and she she's very nasty not understanding I needed someone to listen to me and to understand what I was feeling what I am feeling and she is not the one I will be closing my account here and no longer utilizing their services this was my very first visit and my very last visit
horrible experience. you cant talk to anyone if yiu need to talk to the office. dont use it!
