Citi Bike consists of a fleet of specially designed, sturdy and durable bikes that are locked into a network of docking stations throughout the city. Our bikes can be unlocked from one station and returned to any other station in the system, making them ideal for one-way trips. Bike share is a greener, healthier way to get around — whether you’re commuting, running errands, meeting friends, or exploring in a new city.
The Citi Bike app gives you access to thousands of bikes in your area — unlock and pay directly from the app and get going.
The Citi Bike app also shows upcoming public transit departures, including MTA subway trains, shuttles, local, limited, & express buses, LIRR commuter rail trains, Metro-North commuter rail trains, PATH rapid transit trains, Bee-Line local & express buses, NYC Ferries, the Staten Island Ferry, the AirTrain JFK, the AirTrain Newark, the Roosevelt Island Tramway, and NJT commuter rail trains, light rail trains, & buses.

Fairly good service, app could be better. The bikes generally worked well. Many of the docking stations were broken and wouldn't take a bike, plus it was difficult to find available docks. The app was slow to update and we'd arrive to find the station full. The 30 min time limit can be tough when you have to find an empty spot to dock. The app doesn't let you navigate to a dock and won't keep the screen from going blank. We had to use google for navigation and check back to the citi app.
Sie weigern sich mein Geld anzunehmen. Ich habe es viermal mit vier verschiedenen Zahlungsmethoden probiert, Kreditkarte, PayPal etc., Google Play und es hat nicht funktioniert. Es ist so unfassbar frustrierend. Ich muss jetzt mit der U-Bahn fahren. Ich verstehe nicht, warum man nicht einfach mein Geld annehmen kann.
won't let me ride and won't tell me why
if some docks are blocked by vallet bikes, dont mark them as available.
Got banned without explanation or recourse when I literally never even rented a bike. Customer service took 2 days to respond and did not know or would not explain where the ban came from.
Latest versions have caused the map on city explorer to crash before it is able to load all visible stations. Crashes every time. I would like an easier way to keep track of all the stations I've visited across the city, and the bare minimum would be to not have the app crash every time I load this map
