AccuWeather used to be my favorite weather app until recent updates. Now one is barraged by ads as soon as the app is opened. Most pop-ups are difficult to close. Often they cannot be closed without re-launching the app. I deleted AccuWeather in favor of a less annoying and more responsive app.
ads are insane, constantly inaccurate (I mean its the weather so what can you do really), and the sunset time doesn't account for dst which is really weird
4 years later and still Contains ads which cannot be dismissed with the back button Also I am in California and this app switched up the whole user interface to show "Hurricanes" when the only one happening is in Newfoundland ...and the ads have gotten more atrocious in the less than a month since I wrote that

ads every 3 seconds. won't use this app anymore. you say you use ads to help maintain but no meaningful changes or updates have been made. you're just for profit and don't care about anything else.
