While abroad, my Smart Pass was deactivated without my deregistering. Recovery has repeatedly failed: the app won’t read my passport, take/upload my selfie, or activate my PIN. It then rejected my user ID and password. After hours of calls and complaints, access was restored, but the same problem returned within days. I’m still facing it and being told to repeat steps I’ve tried countless times; agents blame me instead of investigating. I need effective support and a lasting fix.
