it's cool so far
Works fine, but they said that the event rewards for a single event were cleared out and they were canceling that event early....just to cancel every single event???? Including the automatic weekly ones like free ink (never enough for one episode) and free episodes on Saturday. Nobody on staff seems to be willing to explain why everything was just sorta dropped like that. Doesn't help that they raised the price of chapters from 300 ink to 450. Even referrals give you nothing now.
I'm not getting any gifts anymore and it's a bloated mess with it taking up to in my experience 15 gigabytes of cache space last 30 or so chapters are locked besides pay the games sometimes don't reward you and the Monday gift never gives more than 400 ink despite saying it can give 1,000 ink
going down to 1 star. another edit. they removed all gifts and daily ink missions. they only way to earn inks is either buy it or play games and playing games would take so much time as some would only give you 3 inks/level. some, if not most, titles i read are around 405 inks now (discounted, 450 is the actual price). better go to tappytoon or lezhin and not this
I've been using tapas for a while so naturally I have series here that I want to finish. However, as a free reader now that is almost impossible. I don't understand why they would get rid of the free ink on Mondays and the events to earn ink. There is essentially no way to earn ink for free anymore. It's honestly frustrating as a long time reader of tapas series. I am seriously considering deleting the app. Do better.
It is my number one choice when it comes to reading web comics especially since most of my favorite series is here, but I'm really upset with the new layout. I preferred the system before. I loved getting new series notices and I really loved the "[series] fans also read..." notices since I'm subscribed to a lot of series and it refreshes my reading list. I have a hard time starting another series otherwise. Also, what happened to the weekly fortune on Mondays and weekend gift passes?
