I prefer this to the first game. it's less claustrophobic the biomes are very rich and pretty and less terrifying and the storylines continue to be interesting and building on lore. there were def some parts where I needed to look up what to do next. I think it's easy to miss clues and some details when playing on mobile
absolutly amazing level design. the detail and amount of tunnels is outstanding. well the campagn is short it will take days to explore everything. i have never played a game as amazing as this one. i enjoyed watching robin get gobled by sharks. very erotic, lol.
Subnautica: Below Zero offers a beautiful, freezing ocean to explore, but it struggles to match the terror and fun of the original. The voiced protagonist and direct narrative take away from the lonely, eerie atmosphere that made the first game. underwater biomes are stunning but the land exploration feels clunky and tedious. It is a decent survival experience, but it feels like a small expansion rather than a true sequel. ALSO THE SEATRUCK SUCKS!
